Shri Bhullar hails from Amritsar, Punjab and has a distinguished academic career. After completing B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences, he joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1986 in Uttar Pradesh Cadre.

As an IAS officer in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and in the Government of India, Shri Bhullar handled several important positions ranging from Administration, Industry, Finance, Power, Urban Development, Transport, Civil Aviation, etc. In the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, he worked as District Magistrate, Ghaziabad & Kanpur; Municipal Commissioner, Varanasi; Joint Managing Director in UP Financial Corporation; Secretary, Irrigation & Water Resources; Principle Secretary, in Departments of Transport, Finance; as Member of 4 th UP State Finance Commission, etc. In the Govt. of India, he worked as Joint Secretary to 13 th Central Finance Commission; Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Deptt. of Expenditure; as Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation and finally as Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) before superannuating from the Government Service in May, 2019.

Shri Jisnu Barua

Shri Jishnu Barua is a former IAS Officer, who had joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1988 and allocated the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, his home cadre. In his service career in the State Government of Assam, Shri Barua had served in several capacities in the field such as Deputy Commissioner of districts (1994-1997), Managing Director, Assam Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) in 1997-2001, Commissioner & Secretary, Personnel, Home & Political Departments (2007-2012), etc. He had also been on Central Deputation earlier from 2001-2006 and had during that period, served as Private Secretary to Union Minister of State for Commerce, Statistics and Programme Implementation etc., and later as Director (Police) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

He was on Central Deputation again from 2014 to 2017 and posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India looking after Vigilance, Training and Service matters.

Upon returning to Assam, Shri Barua was posted as Principal Secretary to Government of Assam, Power Department during which also served as Chairman of Distribution, Generation and Transmission Companies under the State Government. Thereafter, he took over as Additional Chief Secretary, Home & Revenue Department. Shri Barua was elevated to the post of Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam on 31st October, 2020. He also held additional charge as Chairman, Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL). Shri Jishnu Barua superannuated from service as Chief Secretary on 31st August 2022 and was thereafter re-employed as Chairman, Assam Power Distribution Company. He joined as Chairperson CERC on 2nd March 2023.

Shri Barua had served in the Power Sector in Assam over two stints i.e. 2017-2018 and June 2021 till February 2023. He was Principal Secretary, Power and Chairman, APDCL in 2017-2018 when APDCL made history by recording collection efficiency in excess of 100% for the first time. In that year, against revenue demand of Rs.4759.45 Crore, Rs.4883.90 Crore was realized with collection efficiency of 102.61%. With better collection efficiency, AT&C losses for that year came down to 15.71% against UDAY target of 17.75% for the FY 2017-18.

During his second stint as Chairman, APDCL in FY 2021-22, the collection efficiency exceeded 100% for the second time in the Company’s history. In the FY 2021-22, Rs.6294.81 Crore was collected against demand of Rs.6083.55 Crore during the year with collection efficiency of 103.47% and AT&C losses been 16.95%. The improvement in revenue collection was possible due to special focus on revenue collection, proper indexing of consumers to appropriate distribution transformers, use of artificial intelligence for meter reading, aggressive monitoring through a dedicated WhatsApp group for revenue collection, continuous micro and detailed analysis of collection and billing data, installation of smart meters in urban areas, deploying revenue collection agents (also known as Easy Pay Agent) in remote areas etc.

A post-graduate in History from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, Shri Barua had also attended the 46th Course on Strategic and Defence Studies at the National Defence College (NDC) in 2006. He was awarded an M Phil Degree by University of Madras for his thesis at NDC.

Dr. Anil Kumar Jain

Dr. Anil Kumar Jain is former member of the Indian Administrative Service and is presently posted as Chairperson, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, an autonomous body under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He has over three decades of administrative experience at the field and policy formulation levels, and has held senior positions in the Government in multiple sectors.

He has served as Secretary in the Coal Ministry where he led reforms in sustainable mining, commercial mining and market development. In his earlier stint in Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr. Jain was involved in grant of environment clearance for projects and management of hazardous wastes including elimination of single-use plastic. He specializes in oil & gas sector wherein he has had a long stint in Petroleum Ministry, largely handling the upstream segment. He has authored a book ‘Natural Gas in India : Policy and Liberalisation’, published by OUP, Oxford in 2012. During 2012-17, as Head of the Energy Division of the National Institution for Transforming India (earlier the Planning Commission of India), he led several initiatives including integrated modeling tool, namely the ‘India Energy Security Scenarios, 2047 (IESS)’. He also led the team that drafted the National Energy Policy (2017-2040). Dr. Anil Jain holds a BA (Honours) in Economics, an MBA, and a Diploma from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Dr. Jain has done his Ph.D. on the topic, “Exploring the role of natural gas in India’s energy mix in 2030”.

This was coupled with experience in Public Policy and Administration as Special Chief Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary in the Departments of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management, Cooperation, Forests & Wildlife, Labour, Food Processing, Power, and Education. She has worked in quasi-judicial capacity throughout her career as Adjudicating, Appellate, Reviewing and Revisional Authority.

Mrs. Kaur is a recipient of many Awards/ Medals during her academic and professional career including President of India’s Census Silver Medal and ISAW Women Achievers Award at ITB Berlin. She has done M.A. in Economics from Punjab University Chandigarh and M.Sc. in Public Economic Management from University of Birmingham, UK. She was also a Hubert Humphrey Fellow at Cornell University USA and thereafter worked with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) at Washington DC as a Collaborator.

He worked for MPSEB, Adanis and Advisor to many private companies Sugar industries Co Gen Plants all across the country before joining as Chairman Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission, Agartala.

He was Advisor to The Bombay Chamber of Commerce, Bihar Industries Association, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh Industries Association and also associated with All India Power Engineers Federation.

He writes regularly on power sector policies in English, Hindi and Regional language publication, besides speaking his mind at several public podiums on sensitive issues related to power tariff design and the evolving regulatory regime. He is one of few Engineers who were given Charge of Chairman of Regulatory Commission.

He joined Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TANGEDCO- formerly known as Tamil Nadu Electricity Board) in 1985. He has more than 34 years of wide-ranging experience in TANGEDCO with distinguished academic career. He was Director (Generation) when he laid down his office in TANGEDCO in 2019 on account of superannuation.

He has extensive experience in all spheres of the power sector that includes metering, protection, planning, execution of reforms schemes, energy accounting / auditing, solar projects, etc. He has been the State level Nodal Officer of Disaster Management and played key role in timely restoration of power during major cyclones in the past.

He was the Nodal Officer for computerisation of the billing, on-line application process, energy accounting, AT&C loss computation, etc.,

He has taken vide range of measures to cut the cost of production of Thermal Power and improve the efficiency of Thermal Plants during his tenure as Director (Generation) in TANGEDCO.

Shri Thannir Sriranga Rao assumed office as Chairman of Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC) on 30.10.2019 FN.
Sri Thannir Sriranga Rao, Chairman TSERC was born on 06.08.1962 and hails from Pothgal Village, Mustabad Mandal, Sircilla District. He is an alumni of Osmania University Hyderabad and completed Master of Arts after completing L.L.B and enrolled himself as an Advocate with Bar Council of the then Andhra Pradesh.

Before joining as Chairman, TSERC he has more than three decades of experiences as a legal practitioner. As Convenor of Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee he filed many public interest litigations resulting in saving thousands of crores to the eq-chequer of the State. With his deep insight and acumen he led the Telangana Movement in various capacities.
As Chairman, he has made the TSERC an active Commission by taking up the regulatory work to new heights and ensuring that all the stakeholders perform their functions under the Electricity Act, 2003. In this process the core function of the Commission i.e. tariff determination and in all forms be it retail supply, transmission, distribution or trading have been ensured to be completed in a timely manner including the necessary true up exercise that is required to be performed by the Commission, ultimately resulting in not burdening the end consumer.
The tariff orders thus passed by the Commission in timely manner have become trend setter by gaining accolades across the spectrum of society.
As Chairman, TSERC he has innovatively taken an initiative to hold interaction sessions in various districts across the state bringing together the officials of the licensees, stakeholders and consumer organisations thereby creating a platform for understanding the consumers issues and resolving a few of them instantly. The sessions were helpful to bring awareness among the consumers about the uses of power supply, hazards of misuse, and rights of the consumers as per the Standards of Performance (SoP) notified by the Commission. In addition, the Commission under the leadership has ensured that the SoP is made available in local language of Telugu for the benefit of the consumers and it has its salutary effect.
It is a privilege that in the regime of Sri T. Sriranga Rao, Chairman, that TSERC is constructing its own, new and one of its kind Green Office Building.

Shri, M. D. Ravi, joined the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) as a Member on 13th March, 2019 after serving for more than 34 years in the Power sector including about 9 years of service in the Energy Department, Government of Karnataka. He acquired the Post-Graduation in Commerce from Bangalore University and initially started his career as Lecturer in a College and later on joined the then Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) in May, 1985 as Probationary Assistant Accounts Officer and worked in various capacities for about 9 years in Energy Department, GoK.

During his service, he has worked in Finance, Revenue, Tariff, and Accounts and worked in the Regulatory Wing of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL-Corporate Office) from January, 2000 and served for about seven years mainly focusing on Regulatory matters like drafting Tariff Filings, preparing draft regulations, interacting with State Commission for getting its approval on various issues/subjects apart from handling CERC matters. Since the inception of the Regulatory Framework in the State, worked in the regulatory wing.
From 2010 and onwards worked in Energy Department, GoK, handling various issues such as preparation of Annual Budget Estimates for the power sector, drafting Annual Plan of Power Sector, implementation of approved Budget programmes, and monitoring of release of Budget Funds. Also worked as Nodal Officer for implementation of Financial Restructuring Plan (RFP), and also State Nodal Officer for monitoring implementation of Ujwal Discoms Assurance Yojana (UDAY) in the State. During that period, visited various other Regulatory Commissions along with a team of officers.
On promotion as Financial Adviser in 2016, he continued to serve in Energy Department, GoK, during which time the State Government appointed him as Director (Finance) ED, GoK, and also as Director on the Board of Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (MESCOM Ltd), and worked in that capacity till retirement in March 2019.

Shri Naresh Sardana assumed the charge as Member in the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission on 29.05.2019. He was administrated the oath by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal on 29.05.2019. Prior to this, Shri Naresh Sardana was working as Director Technical in Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and superannuated on 30.04.2018. He was re-appointed as Director Technical and continued up to 29.05.2019 Shri Sardana has served in various capacities in erstwhile HSEB/UHBVN for more than 34 years and has rich and varied experience in Generation, Transmission, Distribution, system operation and power purchase.

Shri Sardana did his graduation in Electrical Engineering in 1982 from Regional Engineering College (now NIT) Kurukshetra and did his MBA with specialization in Operations, Research and Material Management in 1984 from MD University Rohtak. He began his career with Haryana State Electricity Board and Joined on 1st July 1984. As Director Technical he was responsible for Techno-economic evaluation of projects, modernization of schemes, Optimization of distribution networks, regulatory, legal, and financial matters including implementation of reforms schemes of Government of India for development of power sector such as RAPDRP, RGGVY, IPDS, DDUGJY etc. He played a key role in the effective implementation of the Mhara Gaon Jugmug Gaon Scheme and UDAY (Ujjwal DISCOMS Assurance Yojna) due to which there was a turnaround of UHBVN in 2017-18, much ahead of the target date.

Shri Jiban Krishna Sen joined on 08-08-2019 in Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission as Hon’ble Member. He completed B.A. with Honours in 1990. He also Completed LLB degree. He has 20 years of working experience as Advocate. He was the Secretary of Tripura Bar Association. He was also Vice President, Assistant Secretary of Tripura Bar Association. He was also a Member of Tripura Bar Association and Tripura High Court Bar Association. He was also panel Lawyer of General Insurance Company Limited before joining this Commission.

Sudhaker Shukla
Mr. Sudhakar Shukla, Member, IBBI

Shri Sudhaker Shukla took charge as Whole Time Member, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India on 14th November, 2019.
Mr. Shukla has done his post-graduations in Economics and Public Administration and M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University and also from Birmingham University on Public Economic Management. He is recipient of Order of Merit from Birmingham Chamber of Commerce for being the topper of the batch.

Mr. Shukla served as a member of the Indian Economic Service for over 34 years in various capacities across Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. His last assignment was as Chief Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Rural Development. Earlier, he served as Adviser in African Development Bank Tunis, representing India, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. He has also worked in the Ministry of Finance dealing with matters pertaining to the WTO, trade, African Development Bank and infrastructure projects of World Bank. His domain of specialisation are Energy, Infrastructure and Trade.
He had wide experience in dealing with various regulations. Apart from being involved in rolling out key PPP module under Electricity Act 2003, he was entrusted with responsibilities of drafting Mines and Minerals Regulation and Development Amendment Act, 2015 to promote fair and transparent regimes in distribution of natural resources through auctions. He was also designated as Appellate Authority of Mines Tribunal under MMDR Act by Ministry of Mines.
He is currently looking after Regulation Wing comprising Corporate Insolvency, Corporate Liquidation (including Voluntary Liquidation), Individual Insolvency and Individual Bankruptcy, Data Management & Dissemination.

Gajendra Singh
Mr. Gajendra Singh, Member, PNGRB

Shri Gajendra Singh joined as Member, PNGRB on 9th August 2021. Prior to this he was Director (Marketing) at GAIL (India) Limited, India’s national and largest natural gas company. He had joined GAIL in 1986, after starting his career with ONGC, when the Indian gas sector was in its nascent stage. Since then, he has played an important role towards the development of gas market and infrastructure in India.

Mr. Singh has served in various leadership & strategic positions in entire gas value chain from exploration & production, operation & maintenance of pipelines and gas process plants, to gas sourcing & marketing in GAIL. As Director (Marketing), GAIL, he speared and strengthened GAIL’s natural gas, petrochemicals, CGD and liquid hydrocarbon businesses. He was also Member of Empowered Gas Pool Committee of Govt. of India for fertiliser sector and was instrumental in ensuring reliable gas supplies to support Govt’s initiative in improving agricultural produce. He has been the Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL), Bengal Gas Company Limited (BGCL), and Director in Gail Gas Limited, which are major CGD companies in India. He was also the Chairman of Gail Global Singapore Pvt. Limited. (GGSPL), the international trading arm of GAIL.
Mr. Singh, under took the transition from a near monopolistic situation to making GAIL a preferred gas supplier by embracing a marketing approach and creating a multi asset-based portfolio. He has been successful in driving various initiatives to promote gas industry and has pioneered development of city gas projects in various cities which paved way for growth in India’s retail gas market, CNG and PNG.
Mr. Singh has credit to several first in India, and for GAIL, like having marketed the 1st spot LNG cargo to Indian customers, undertaking destination and time swaps for LNG cost and operation optimisation, international LNG marketing for Multi Million Tonnes per annum and initialisation and commencement of GAIL’s LNG shipping business. He has been a fervent supporter of equitable and fair play for gas companies, and in his stint as Director (Marketing), started for the first time in India, the online system for booking pipeline capacity under open access, which has been well appreciated by the industry for its transparency and ease of doing business.
He has represented Indian gas sector at National and International platforms and is well known for developing excellent relationships with policy makers to promote clean energy.
Gajendra Singh did his schooling from Mussoorie and is a Post Graduate in Electronics from Dehradun.

Manohar Raju

Shri M.D. Manohar Raju assumed charge as Member (Technical) of Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission on 30th October, 2019. Prior to this appointment, he retired on superannuation as Chief General Manager (Commercial) of Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL), a distribution utility of Telangana state.

He did B.Tech in ‘Electrical & Electronics Engineering’ in 1983 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). He also holds Master’s Degrees in Engineering with specialization in ‘Electrical Power Systems’ and Business Administration with specialization in ‘Human Resources’ from Osmania University.
He has overall experience of 33 years in the Power Sector. He started his career as Assistant Engineer in Electricity Board (erstwhile APSEB), elevated to the level of Chief General Manager and also worked as Commission Secretary on deputation for about three years. He headed the functional departments of Commercial, Projects, Investment Promotion and Regulatory Affairs of TSSPDCL. Before joining the Electricity Board, as Lecturer he taught in Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.

Shri Bandaru Krishnaiah assumed charge as Member (Finance) of Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission on 30th October, 2019. He hails from Kalimera Village, Nalgonda District, Telangana State. Prior to this appointment, he retired from Telangana State Financial Corporation as Assistant General Manager (Projects) on attaining age of superannuation.

He did his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Finance and Marketing in 1985 from CSIBER, Kolhapur after pursuing B.Com (Hons) in 1983 from IIMC, Hyderabad.
He has overall experience of 32 years in Industrial Finance, projects evaluation and monitoring.
During the tenure of his service in the united APSFC, to his credentials he has achieved Best Employee Award for four consecutive years from 2000-2004. He has headed different Branches of the Corporation and put his best efforts to elevate the Branches to “A” category.
Considering his credentials, management has extended his services for one year as Head of the Projects Department. Finally he had retired as Head of the Projects Department of Telangana State Financial Corporation and handled Power, Steel, Chemical, Textile, Pharma, Food, Agro and Infrastructure projects etc. During his tenure as head of the projects department, he has achieved all time record of sanction portfolio.

He began his professional career in 1981 in NTPC and joined POWERGRID in 1991. Subsequently in Jan’19 he joined CERC as Member. While working at various projects and Corporate Office of NTPC and POWERGRID, he was involved in conceptualization, planning, design, engineering, monitoring and implementation of projects of National importance. A champion of environment friendly development, Shri Jha ensured on- schedule commissioning of transmission infrastructure and has now set a frenetic pace for grid development bringing efficiency into the sector.

He has spearheaded development of robust National grid in the country integrated with State-of-the-Art technologies as well as Green Energy Corridors for integration of renewables. With extensive experience in the transmission sector, Shri Jha played a key role in the conceptualisation and implementation of National Grid, Cross-border interconnections with neighbouring countries, setting up long distance multi-terminal HVDC transmission system i.e, 800kV 6000MW Biswanath Chariyali- Agra HVDC system, first of its kind in the world. Planning and commissioning of one of the largest high capacity HVDC bipole Champa-Kurushetra in early 2016, increasing the available transfer capability significantly between Northern & Western region as well as North East West (NEW) region grid and Southern Region enabling development of vibrant electricity market are some of his recent benchmark contributions to the Indian power sector. In addition, he played a key role in deployment of Smart grid Technology in Indian power System including Synchrophasor measurement, Battery Energy Storage System, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, and other emerging technologies. Under his leadership, Varanasi Smart Grid project was implemented that was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

Project management in power transmission involves various challenges such as Right of Way (RoW) issues, getting timely environmental clearances, timely contract award, milestones monitoring and filing of petitions before the regulator. Shri I S Jha has achieved unprecedented success in managing above challenges. Under his leadership, POWERGRID has acted as an enabler of power markets for providing affordable options to DISCOMs.

He is an active proponent of emerging technology & other cutting-edge initiatives and steered development of new technologies towards indigenisation as part of “Make in India” effort, like development of 1200 kV AC technology, highest transmission voltage in the world, through collaboration with Indian manufacturers, 765kV level transformer and reactor, 400kV Gas Insulated Switchgear(GIS), integrating FACTS technology like SVC, STATCOM, FSC+TCSC into the Indian power system to bring efficiency. He also played a key role in deployment of VSC based HVDC Technology in India. He also led the team of Distribution management system for design & implementation of accorded projects to POWERGRID under APDRP scheme as well as Rural electrification works under RGGVY scheme.

Shri Jha has been a driving force in conceptualizing integration of renewable generation in the grid by implementing Green energy Corridors covering comprehensive Intra & Inter State Transmission Schemes, dynamic reactive compensation in the form of State- of-the-Art STATCOM, establishment of Renewable Energy Management Centre (REMC), that would play a key role in achieving target of 175 GW of renewable generation towards clean development. He also steered implementation of 24x7 power for all programmes in various States through implementation of distribution modernisation schemes, last mile connectivity etc. He involved in formulation of Standards, regulations on open access as well as policy advocacy for overall development of power sector. During the course of his professional journey, he has also been involved in formulation of key regulations related to Power sector such as Indian Electricity Grid code, Open Access in ISTS, Grant of Connectivity, Long-term Access and Medium-term Open Access in inter-State Transmission, Sharing of Inter State Transmission charges & losses etc.

Towards R&D, a number of initiatives were undertaken by him on new technology, which are first of its kind viz, 1200 KV UHVAC System, Wide area Monitoring System, Smart Grid, High Temperature Superconducting Cables, Process Bus Architecture Sub- station Automation System, etc. which would go a long way in development of an efficient and economical power system in the country

He is known for his technological prowess and people-centric leadership. He is member of Governing Body of CPRI, Bangalore and President, International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) – India, member of apex Governing body i.e. Steering Committee of CIGRE - Paris and other professional bodies. He has published/ presented numerous articles, more than 50 technical papers in the field of power system in various international and National Journal/Conferences. He has also Co- authored two books namely, ‘Renewable Energy Technology’ and “Smart Grid Fundamental and Applications”. Shri Jha has also applied for patents for the technical innovations in the field of power system.

Shri Arun Goyal, a 1985 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Union Territories Cadre, is former Secretary to Government of India. He superannuated in August 2019 from the Cabinet Secretariat as Secretary (Coordination). He has more than 34 years of wide ranging experience with Government of India, State Governments and Union Territory Administrations particularly in areas of power, finance, commerce and industry.

He is passionate about reforms, institution building and bringing about systemic changes in the organizations. He has been part of major reforms and transitions in India including rolling out & subsequent implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST); setting up of Financial Intelligence Unit & Anti- Money Laundering regime and India’s transition from GATT to WTO.

He has extensive experience in all spheres of power Sector with three tenures in Delhi’s Power Sector during different stages of its transformation and has held various positions including Principal Secretary (Power); CMD, Delhi Transco Ltd.; CMD, Delhi Power Company Ltd.; Chairman, Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd.; Chairman, Pragati Power Corporation Ltd. and Additional General Manager (Administration) of erstwhile Delhi Electric Supply Undertaking. He played a major role in carrying forward and stabilizing historic power reforms of Delhi resulting in unbundling of Delhi Vidyut Board and privatization of distribution. He effectively handled major power crisis in Delhi arising out of devastating thunderstorm on 30th May 2014 and preparing comprehensive investment plan for upgrading Delhi’s power transmission system. As Principal Secretary (Power), Govt. of Goa, he finalized and signed ‘24X7 Power for All’ MoU between Govt. of India and Govt. of Goa.

As head of Project Monitoring Group in the Cabinet Secretariat for more than three and a half years, he played key role in resolving variety of issues for expeditious implementation of many mega and stalled infrastructure projects including many power transmission and generation projects.

He has more than 9 years’ experience in various facets of Finance in Government of India and has held positions of Special Secretary, GST Council; Minister (Economic & Commercial), Embassy of India, Tokyo; and Director, Financial Intelligence Unit-India. He was also Secretary (Finance) in Andaman & Nicobar Administration for about two years.

Shri Arun Goyal has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering; an MBA (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad; MA (Economics) from HP University and MSc (Development Management) from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK.
