Membership

Membership of the Forum is open to any person who is or has been a Member or a chairman of a Regulatory Commission or Authority established by law or any other organisation connected with public utilities as well as an association of consumers. At the end of March 2000, all the 12 State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs) in existence, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) and Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) had become Institutional Member.
